They do look funny, all wrinkled & puckered until you put them on and they are sleek and fabulous. 

These come in the one length shown and work on everyone, tall or short. 
These feature a higher waist, substantial elastic to stay up and stay put while moving, side seaming detail, and a hidden back waist pocket.

These are meant to be TIGHT.  You should pull and squeeze into them. Once they're on they will feel wonderful & you will look 10 pounds lighter.  If they are too loose, they will still feel great, but they WON'T make you look 10 pounds lighter and they might move around on you when working out instead of staying put.
